The Authors Guild is proud to be a sponsor of the Latinx KidLit Book Festival’s inaugural Latinx Storytellers Conference. Registration is now open!

The Latinx Storytellers Conference is an annual, in-person gathering of Latinx writers and illustrators of books for children and adults. During this two-day event, hundreds of Latinx storytellers will enjoy craft masterclasses, professional development sessions and have access to hard-to-reach industry professionals such as publishers, editors and literary agents.

The conference’s programming goals are threefold:

  1. Community, connection and belonging;
  2. Craft and professional development; and
  3. Industry access and networking.  

All conference proceeds will benefit the Latinx KidLit Book Festival’s programs including the virtual book festival now celebrating its fifth year, school visits and book donations, educator outreach, and advocacy for Latinx-authored children’s books in schools and libraries everywhere.
