The award is open to writers who have published a novel, a collection of short fiction, or at least three short stories or novellas in publications with national distribution. Eligible submissions include an unpublished manuscript of short stories, two or more novellas, or a combination of one or more novellas and short stories. Novellas cannot be standalone and will only be accepted as part of a larger collection. Manuscripts must be 150-300 pages.
