The Short Fiction Award, the Flash Fiction Award, the Creative Nonfiction Award, and the Poetry Award are all open for submissions. Only previously unpublished writing will be considered. Entries for the Short Fiction and Creative Nonfiction Awards should not exceed 1,500 words; entries for the Flash Fiction Award should not exceed 500 words; and entries for the Poetry Award should not exceed 50 lines. The winner of each contest will be awarded $1,000 and publication in The Los Angeles Review. Entry fee is $20. Deadline: October 1, 2016 For more information, please visit the website.
