Writing is important to me because it gives me a creative outlet for the stories in my mind. I believe writing is an important medium for the world because without literature, the world would be boring. What are your tried and tested remedies to cure writer’s block? Even when I don’t feel like it, I will sit and write. It may be two words or 2,000. If I’m really stuck, I may journal about why I am stuck to get the writing juices flowing. I set goals for my writing such as write 300 words a day and in approximately eight months, I’ll have a novel. What is your favorite time to write? My favorite time to write is right after I take my evening nap after working eight hours as an office assistant. I wake refreshed and ready to get words on paper. What’s the best piece of writing advice you’ve ever received and would like to impart to other writers? Don’t give up. What excites you most about being a writer in today’s age? By being a writer, I can express my world views which include peace, forgiveness and love (because I write inspirational, historical romance novels). Greta C.
