Three emerging writers will be selected for six-month fellowships, which include $1,000, a mentorship from an established author who has previously contributed to A Public Space, publication in the magazine, and an optional free workspace in their Brooklyn offices from March to September 2016. Applicants should submit a previously unpublished short story or essay and a cover letter that includes one paragraph with biographical information, and one paragraph about a piece of writing by another author that has been meaningful to you.
