Up to 15 fellowships are awarded each year to scholars and writers whose work would benefit directly from access to the research collections at the New York Public Library’s Stephen A. Schwarzman Building. Fellowship recipients will receive a stipend of up to $70,000, an office, a computer, and full access to the Library’s physical and electronic resources. In addition to the application, applicants should submit a research proposal, Curriculum Vitae, letters of recommendation, and art work sample or creative writing sample.
