Only literary or creative nonfiction proposals will be considered. No fiction or poetry proposals will be reviewed. The winner will receive $3,000 to help with expenses related to spending creative time in a desert environment. Applicants should submit a biographical statement, a project title and description, and a writing sample of no more than 10 pages.
