Gulf Coast Magazine Prizes

Gulf Coast Magazine is currently accepting submissions for the Barthelme Prize for Short Prose and the Gulf Coast Prize in Translation. The Barthelme Prize is open to pieces of prose poetry, flash fiction, and micro-essays of 500 words or fewer. The Gulf Coast Prize is open to prose (fiction and nonfiction) in translation. Only previously unpublished work will be considered. Both winners will receive $1,000 and publication.
