The prize is open to any poet who has previously published at least one full-length book of poems (defined as a volume of more than 40 pages, in an edition of 500 or more copies that has been made readily available through trade distribution). Entrants must be U.S. citizens or currently residing in the U.S. The winner will receive $1,000, publication of their collection, and a stipend of $1,000 for expenses related to the promotion of the collection.
