Poets must currently reside in and have had residency in the South for a minimum of 24 consecutive months (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia).
