The Edwin Markham Prize is for works of poetry and is awarded for a poem or group of poems (up to 5). The winner will receive $1,000. The John Steinbeck Award is for a work of fiction up to 5,000 words. The winner will receive $1,000. The Gabriele Rico Creative Nonfiction Challenge is for a work of nonfiction up to 5,000 words.
