Join us for a discussion with Authors Guild General Counsel Cheryl Davis, moderated by chapter ambassadors Kelly Starling Lyons and Judy Allen Dodson. As she guides writers through the most important terms of the the Authors Guild Model Trade contract (rights, money, and warranty and indemnity provisions) she will also review areas to negotiate when considering a traditional publishing contract while focusing on critical provisions and perils to avoid.
Attendees will have a chance to ask questions. This event is free and open to the public and all are welcome to attend.
