Spring is here! Time for our next Authors Guild San Diego get-together! Mark your calendars for April 17 from 2–4 p.m.

The proposed discussion theme for this meeting will be: Share tips and pitfalls on building an author platform, including growing email lists for author newsletters. 

  • If you are on Substack, how do you like it? What other platforms are people liking? 
  • What strategies have worked best for growing your email list? 
  • How often do you publish your email newsletter? 
  • How do you get invited to speaking opportunities? 
  • What strategies do you recommend for building your author platform?
