As you may be aware, the Authors Guild is currently engaged in litigation against unconstitutional book ban legislation in Texas and Arkansas. We successfully helped to overturn an unconstitutional book ban in Virginia, while fighting against cuts to libraries in Michigan, New York, and elsewhere.

Now, we’d like to hear directly from authors whose books have been banned or challenged. Your voice as an author is a powerful tool in the fight against censorship, demonstrating the real-world consequences of book bans on authors and the wider literary community and providing valuable information for our ongoing advocacy work.
