Susan Bernofsky’s Clairvoyant of the Small: The Life of Robert Walser was a finalist in the Biography category. Jocelyn Nicole Johnson’s My Monticello was a finalist for the John Leonard Prize for best first book. Christopher Irmscher was a finalist for the Nona Balakian Citation for Excellence in Reviewing.
