Why is writing important to you and why do you think it’s an important medium for the world? Writing is an expression. Most importantly it is a way to express experiences and lessons learned in life through stories. This passes on knowledge to generations after generations and it is the unselfish thing to so for humanity.

What are your tried and tested remedies to cure writer’s block? Writer’s block is not something I encounter. I personally don’t think it exists. A creative outlet like writing is an ever flowing river of ideas. The question is how to organize those ideas and flow the river of ideas smoothly via writing.

What is your favorite time to write? Morning at 4:30 am or at night. Anytime is an opportunity for expression but those hours are precious because that’s when it’s quiet and mostly sacred to me.

What’s the best piece of writing advice you’ve ever received and would like to impart to other writers? The best piece of writing advice I’ve received from prominent writers were write daily. Write anything, it doesn’t matter what it is. As long as you write something everyday. Also read often and observe.

What excites you most about being a writer in today’s age? Today writing is exciting because there are many avenues to choose from and we can share our ideas with more people faster than ever before in the history of humanity. Some choose to spread bad news but I choose to be amongst the few that spread good to better humanity. Every writer has a duty and responsibility to better the lives of others and now is the time to step in and contribute.
