For all of us in the world, it’s like a sixth food group. What are your tried and tested remedies to cure writer’s block? Sometimes it helps to simply describe a gesture that’s hard to describe, such as the typical way people position their bodies when they stand, sit, lounge, lean, run, walk, or whatever else humans do. What is your favorite time to write? 4 a.m. What’s the best piece of writing advice you’ve ever received and would like to impart to other writers? Mavis Gallant said, “Don’t describe it. Remember it.” What excites you most about being a writer in today’s age?That my novel is getting published at all.
