Provides me with meaningful understanding of society, my life and the lives of others. I consider writing and working with and creatively exploring language as a gift. Writing is the foundation for communication for the world. What are your tried and tested remedies to cure writer’s block? Haven’t experienced that problem but, if it should occur, just start writing something related to my original thoughts, ignoring word choice, sentences, grammar. These notes become links to later development and expansion. I never write a book in a linear way. I write scenes, dialogue, chapters, and plot out of sequence to be reassembled later. For me, the manuscript is like a painter’s pallet on which I can experiment and mix and match. What is your favorite time to write? Mornings and any time inspiration occurs. What’s the best piece of writing advice you’ve ever received and would like to impart to other writers? Write what you are enthusiastic about. What excites you most about being a writer in today’s age? The wide range of readers interested in the wide range of books and the new distribution technologies. Rob Tucker’s Manifestation (Black Spiral, Book 2) is out now with Tell-Tale Publishing Group.
