Peddie March 21, 2022 Share on Twitter (opens in a new tab) on Facebook (opens in a new tab) on Linkedin (opens in a new tab) via email Why is writing important to you and why do you think it’s an important medium for the world? Writers unearth the untold stories, the ones that resonate and have the capacity to change lives. It’s important, too, to document the history of our lives for future generations. What are your tried and tested remedies to cure writer’s block? I only have one: Sit down and write everyday. On some days, you may only write one good paragraph; but that’s more than you did the day before. What is your favorite time to write? I like to write in the quiet of the morning. What’s the best piece of writing advice you’ve ever received and would like to impart to other writers? Believe in yourself. Don’t let your insecurities drag you do. Of all the lessons I’ve learned as a writer, that one is the hardest for me to remember. What excites you most about being a writer in today’s age? People always ask me what my favorite story is, but I always fall in love with the next one. I love learning about people and the world and feel profoundly enriched by the things they share with me.
