We’ve all got questions and anxieties about money. Whether it’s figuring out the basics of how to handle living life on a volatile income or stressing about whether you’ll ever be able to buy a home or feeling the squeeze of caring for aging parents while raising kids or recognizing that trauma around money from your youth is still impacting you as an adult—we’ve all got our baggage. So, let’s talk about it, loudly! Join financial hype woman and author of Money Out Loud, Berna Anat, and Erin Lowry, author of the Broke Millennial series, for a dynamic Q&A to answer all your money questions.

A Q&A will follow the presentation; you can pre-submit a question when registering for the event. A recording will be made available for those who cannot attend live.

The event will take place via Zoom with automatic closed captioning. To request any other accessibility features, please email support@authorsguild.org and we will make every effort to accommodate.

Berna Anat (@heyberna) is an award-winning author, producer, speaker, rich auntie in training, and financial hype woman—which is her made-up way of saying she creates financial education media for young BIPOC all over the internet. A proud Filipina-American daughter of immigrants, she taught herself how to pay off over $50,000 of debt and did what any Millennial would do: yell about it on the internet. Berna’s work has been featured on platforms such as ForbesThe New York Times, and Buzzfeed. Her 2023 debut book with HarperCollins, Money Out Loud: All the Financial Stuff No One Taught Us, is a Bookshop.org Bestseller and has received starred reviews from Kirkus and Booklist. She won’t shut up about it until she reaches her ultimate goal: To get Money Out Loud into the hands of 700,000 young BIPOC for free.

Erin Lowry, moderator, is the author of the four-part Broke Millennial series, including: Broke Millennial, Broke Millennial Takes On Investing and Broke Millennial Talks Money and her  recently published Broke Millennial Workbook: Take Control and Get Your Financial Life Together. Erin’s been featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and on CBS Sunday Morning, CNBC and The Rachael Ray Show. She has written for The New York Times, USA Today, and is a columnist for Bloomberg Opinion. She publishes a twice-weekly Substack newsletter called Broke Millennial with Erin Lowry.
