Deborah K. Wilson

Deborah K. Wilson is the executive director of the Authors Guild Foundation, the educational and charitable arm of the Authors Guild. She oversees fundraising, board relations, staff supervision, strategic planning, and operations for the Foundation.

Deborah brings more than 25 years of nonprofit management experience strengthening mission-driven organizations. Before joining the Guild in January 2024, she served as chief development officer at PEN America, where she spearheaded the expansion of the operating budget, exemplified exceptional donor cultivation skills, successfully transformed gala fundraising strategies to substantially enhance revenue, and increased donor contributions to impressive levels.

Prior to PEN America, Wilson served in leadership roles at Gilda’s Club NYC and Family Services of Westchester. She has served on numerous local boards and regularly volunteers time in her community.
