Ken Gonzales-Day: History’s “Nevermade”
Please join Authors Guild Los Angeles Chapter ambassadors Heidi Mastrogiovanni and Paul Peress at USC/Expo Park for a morning of art and conversation on November 22 at 10AM. This programming is in support of the national Fall of Freedom initiative, an urgent call to the arts community to unite in defiance of authoritarian forces sweeping the nation.
We’ll meet in the Rose Garden, Expo Park and head together to Ken Gonzales-Day: History’s “Nevermade” at the USC Fisher Museum. Curator Amelia Jones, a Robert A. Day Professor at Roski School of Art & Design, will be leading an unofficial walk-through of the exhibit with the artist!
The group will then return to Expo Park with Amelia for a robust but casual “teach-in,” a conversation about institutional racism and the role of art in addressing structural inequities.
