Tax season is here, which means it’s time for our annual Q&A webinar on filing taxes for authors. We’ll discuss expenses and other deductions, strategies to lower your tax bill, and tips for optimizing your tax liability for the future.
Robert Pesce, treasurer of the Authors Guild Foundation, joins us once again with author Erin Lowry, host of our Money Matters series. The two will address must-know basics and notable changes in tax laws for this year before jumping into audience questions. Expect straight answers in plain language from a veteran tax attorney—but please note, this webinar is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute personal tax advice.
A Q&A will follow the presentation; you can pre-submit a question when registering for the event. A recording will be made available for those who cannot attend live.
The event will take place via Zoom with automatic closed captioning. To request any other accessibility features, please email support@authorsguild.org and we will make every effort to accommodate.
