Writing is self-expression, allowing me to open up to others and make connections and bonds with my readers. People I’ve never met can connect with, and find meaning in, the words I write, and relate to my messages on a personal level. The written word lasts and endures in a way other mediums cannot. What are your tried and tested remedies to cure writer’s block? I’ve never encountered writer’s block. I always have something to write about. What is your favorite time to write? I’m a morning person so I do most of my writing before mid-afternoon; I hardly ever write in the evening unless I have an important mental inspiration. What’s the best piece of writing advice you’ve ever received and would like to impart to other writers? Hire a professional editor! It’s well worth the cost. What excites you most about being a writer in today’s age? Self-publishing gives me the creative freedom to tell my stories my way and design my books to my own specifications.
