Authors Guild Celebrates LGBTQ Rights

Friday marked a momentous moment in the history of equal rights.  We stand with all of our LGBTQ members and authors around the world in celebrating equal marriage rights. However, there is still much work to be done.  Around the world, LGBTQ members, women and minorities struggle with repression and discrimination. With the power of the word, writers continue to spread the message of equality and free expression for all. The Authors Guild has a long history of fighting for equality and the rights of authors to speak freely regardless of their sexual identity, gender, or race.
