How to Develop Your Platform: Q&A with Leah Paulos

resource video

This is an excerpt of Leah Paulos’s presentation for this Authors Guild Launchpad Q&A session. In these meetings, authors discuss the topic with a publicist and engage in live Q&A.

An author’s platform can include a website, email list, social media, and other communication methods. As you head towards book launch, join publicist Leah Paulos of Press Shop PR and Book Publicity School for an overview of how to grow and utilize your platform to find readers and network with others in your book’s space. For the Q&A, bring your most pressing questions about how to engage your email list, what to do on social media even if it doesn’t come naturally to you, how to book events, and anything else you’re curious about relating to your author platform.
