Anthropic Settlement Notice Update for Authors

All class action members should now be receiving email or paper notices with instructions to submit a claim form. 

Each notice includes your Unique ID, which you will need when completing the claim form.

NOTE: If you already submitted a claim form, you do NOT need to fill it out again, even if you received a new unique ID. 

The Anthropic Class Action website has also been updated with new information about opting out and objections

What You Should Do Now

  • Don’t see an email? Check your inboxspam, and promotions folders for a message from the Settlement Administrator (info@AnthropicCopyrightSettlement.com) containing your Unique ID. Email that address if you don’t see anything. 
  • Check your physical mail for the postcard notice. Keep in mind that delivery may take longer than usual due to holiday mail volume.
  • If you received multiple emails with different Unique IDs, you may use any one of them—your claim will be processed correctly.
  • If you have questions about your Unique ID or claim, contact the Settlement Administrator at info@AnthropicCopyrightSettlement.com.
  • Authors Guild members may also reach out to us directly at staff@authorsguild.org for assistance.
