Authors Guild Statement on WGA’s Tentative Agreement

The Authors Guild is delighted that the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) have reached a tentative agreement that is, in the words of the WGA, “exceptional—with meaningful gains and protections for writers in every sector of the membership.”

Authors truly are stronger together, and the solidarity between creative artists and other industry professionals has bolstered these efforts. We look forward to learning more about the terms of this agreement and its potential impact on all writers.
