School & Library Marketing: What Authors Should Know

How do books get in front of the right people at libraries and schools? Behind the scenes, your publisher’s marketing department works using a variety of means to promote new titles to librarians and educators. Library marketing takes place at conferences, in journals and magazines, through author visits, and more.

Join us for a chat with marketing experts from Lee & Low and HarperCollins discussing what authors should know  about school and library marketing. We’ll learn inside tips about what authors can do to market their own books and to enhance the efforts of their publisher’s in-house team.

A Q&A will follow the presentation; you can pre-submit a question when registering for the event. A recording will be made available for Authors Guild members.

The event will take place via Zoom with automatic closed captioning. To request any other accessibility features, please email support@authorsguild.org and we will make every effort to accommodate.
