Writing is everything to me and has been all of my life. It’s through the written word that we can more broadly share our thoughts, ideas, hopes, dreams, and cautionary tales. Having our history documented, for one thing, enables us to know our past and how to avoid repeating it, as long as we take the time to continue to teach its impacts on the future. What are your tried and tested remedies to cure writer’s block? I like to take a long walk outside and think about other things. Magically, the block dissolves and I can get back to writing. What is your favorite time to write? Mornings are my go-to time to write. What’s the best piece of writing advice you’ve ever received and would like to impart to other writers? There’s one that is fairly common: just write the story you want to read. You can’t fix a blank page. What excites you most about being a writer in today’s age? Having the freedom to share whatever story I want to tell through indie publishing, while recognizing it’s up to me to ensure the story is told as well as possible!
