I can’t imagine a world without stories. Even as a child playing with my Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars, I created stories for them. Storytelling is what makes us human. What are your tried and tested remedies to cure writer’s block? When I was writing my novel, there were days where it was a struggle. But even if I got one small paragraph down, it meant I was moving the chains forward. What is your favorite time to write? Morning. Also, whenever I can. What’s the best piece of writing advice you’ve ever received and would like to impart to other writers? I believe it was Elmore Leonard who said, “Leave out the boring parts.” Bingo. What excites you most about being a writer in today’s age? I’d have to say the ability to reach so many people. Joseph Guzzo’s Mousetrap, Inc. is out now with Resource Publications.
