Why is writing important to you and why do you think it’s an important medium for the world? Writing has always been my way of inhabiting an alternate world/life. Writing is important because it gives readers the chance to sample life in many different places and time periods.

What excites you most about being a writer in today’s age? From ancient times, human beings have told stories to explain/order their experience of the world. That doesn’t change. It’s the same in any age.
