AG Chapter Events

1:30 pm-6:00 pm Pacific
Paul's Home (RSVP For Address), White Oak Ave., Reseda, California
Let’s spend the day together with stories.
The Guild’s Los Angeles chapter is opening co-ambassador Paul Peress’s home in the Valley for an afternoon that blends focused writing time with a relaxed literary salon — a space for authors to work, connect, and celebrate the craft of writing.
Doors open early for anyone who would like to take part in a quiet 90-minute collective writing session. Bring your current project and use this time to make real progress alongside fellow authors.
Stuck? Bring a notebook anyway — sometimes the room does the writing for you.
We’ll provide the chairs, tables, and focused atmosphere. You bring the work.
Collective solitude — an oxymoron for the ages.
Join fellow members to chat, connect, and catch up — sans agenda.
“But wait, there’s more! If you call within the next 15 minutes, we will add a second tummy tightener for…” WHOA — HOLD YER HORSES. I think we’ve been hijacked by late-night TV ads. Yikes!
But there really is more.
Anyone who would like to share a piece of writing — published or in progress — is warmly invited to read. The floor will be yours with an affectionately strict 3-minute time limit per reader.
Listeners are just as welcome as readers.
Appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages will be served, compliments of the Authors Guild. Feel free to bring your own libation.
