Summer Greetings to Authors! It’s been a while since we’ve all gotten together face to face. I’ve missed seeing you all, and hope to resume a more regular pace of in-person gatherings. To celebrate summer, let’s get together on my patio for “5-Minute Reads” on Wednesday, June 24, 2-4pm. Five minutes is about 3 double-spaced pages. All genres welcome!
I recently attended a workshop at the McCormack Writing Center (formerly Tin House), and hearing fellow writers read from their work was such a powerful way to get to know each other. I thought this could be a fun way for us to get to know each other’s work.
Please let me know in your RSVP if you would like to volunteer to read, so that I know there is enough interest.
And for those who don’t want to share their work this time, we will also enjoy some mingle time over snacks and drinks, and hear updates about what’s new in your writing life.
