The Los Angeles Chapter of the Authors Guild is hosting a virtual writing session on July 22 via Zoom.
Summer is here—a season of travel and scattered schedules, but never a time for us to be away from one another for too long. So we’re turning to an online hootenanny.
Grab your laptops or pen and paper! At the beginning of the session, we’ll each briefly introduce ourselves and mention the projects we’ll be working on that evening. We’ll also have prompts on hand for those who feel spontaneous.
This is a judgement-free zone and all we seek is to provide a safe place to write en force. Let’s harness the power of scale and move forward together toward something greater than the sum of its parts.
We’ll have 1.5 hours, with a 10 minute break after 40 minutes. While writing, we shall mute our microphones and choose to leave our cameras on or not.
At the end of the 1.5 hours, we’ll regroup, give a quick update on how the session went for each of us, and end with encouragement and modem-shattering applause 😉
