Bay Area Chapter: World Fantasy Con Social Hour

Friday, October 23, 2026

5:00 pm Pacific

Iron & Oak, Oakland Marriott City Center, 1001 Broadway, Oakland, California

Whether you are attending World Fantasy in Oakland from Oct 22-24 or just want to hang out with other authors, join us for a casual social at the Oakland Marriott City Center Hotel’s Iron and Oak Bar and Restaurant Iron & Oak!

If you’re also an attending member of World Fantasy, we’d love for you to swing by regional co-ambassador Amy Z. Chan’s panel Romance: Resistance or Reinforcement? before the social on Friday, October 23 from 3-4pm in Room 202.

Note: While the social is open to everyone, you must be an attending member of World Fantasy to go to the panel.

Please RSVP here if you plan to attend the social at Iron & Oak on Friday, October 23!
