From TikTok to Instagram, the digital world is in love with short videos. Why not harness this trend as part of your own self-promotion for your books and other writing?
Learn the ins and out of producing digital book trailers in a free one-hour, online workshop on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. sponsored by the Boston Chapter of the Authors Guild. Author and content creator Randy Ross will talk about the potential of short, compelling book trailers and walk you through how to create a one using readily available software and apps. He will highlight key points about what makes an effective trailer, with examples from his experience and that of other writers. Wonder if you have the skills to create a short movie about your book? No worries. Randy will provide easy-to-follow pointers along with advice on how to hire a profession for your project.
The workshop will be moderated by Boston Authors Guild ambassadors Stephanie Schorow and Nancy Rubin Stuart.
