New Mexico authors and Guild members are invited to engage with and learn from some of our community’s most talented writers at the upcoming New Mexico Press Women (NMPW) 75th Anniversary Conference on March 15–16, 2024.

The Guild is co-sponsoring the event and will have several key members in attendance:

  • Authors Guild Foundation board member Sherri Burr will end her third term as NMPW president.
  • George R.R. Martin, one of the named plaintiffs in the Guild’s class-action lawsuit over AI’s unauthorized use of authors’ works, will deliver the keynote speech on March 16.
  • Former Authors Guild council member and current advisory council member Hampton Sides will take part in an interview and share insights from his prolific writing career.
