2017 NBCC Award Finalists Announced

The National Book Critics Circle announced their finalists earlier today. Jesmyn Ward’s Sing, Unburied, Sing is nominated in the category of Fiction. Frances FitzGerald’s The Evangelicals: The Struggle to Shape America is nominated in the category of Nonfiction. Caroline Fraser’s Prairie Fires: The American Dreams of Laura Ingalls Wilder and William Taubman’s Gorbachev: His Life and Times is nominated in the category of Biography. Edwidge Danticat’s The Art of Death: Writing the Final Story is nominated in the category of Criticism. The winners of the National Book Critics Circle awards will be announced on March 15.
