Jennifer Egan’s Manhattan Beach, Louise Erdrich’s Future Home of the Living God, Paul La Farge’s The Night Ocean, and Jesmyn Ward’s Sing, Unburied, Sing were longlisted in the category of Fiction. Sherman Alexie’s You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me: A Memoir, Ron Chernow’s Grant, and William Taubman’s Gorbachev: His Life and Times were longlisted in the category of Nonfiction.
