Why is writing important to you and why do you think it’s an important medium for the world? Writing is an important outlet for me to make sense of the world. Telling stories that entertain while also providing different perspectives and cultures can bring understanding, something so sorely lacking in the world today.

What excites you most about being a writer in today’s age? I expect it is the same thing that has always motivated writers: being able to move people.
