Why is writing important to you and why do you think it’s an important medium for the world? Imagination, Knowledge, escape from the everyday world.

What are your tried and tested remedies to cure writer’s block? I don’t believe there is writer’s block. Just write on something else till your brain cleans itself up. Are you working on a novel and get stuck? Write a short story and visa versa. If you’re in construction and can’t quite work out where to place something in a blueprint. Work on a different area until it comes to you. But you don’t have construction block.

What is your favorite time to write? Usually early morning.

What’s the best piece of writing advice you’ve ever received and would like to impart to other writers? There’s very little inspiration going around, so just write. You can fix what isn’t on the paper.

What excites you most about being a writer in today’s age? So many reasons to write. What people need is a reason to read.
