Authors, has your science fiction writing been pirated? Galaktika, a Hungarian sci-fi mag, may owe you money.

The Authors Guild and the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA) worked together to reach an agreement with the magazine Galaktika, which for years had been reprinting American and British stories without permission. We have compiled a list of authors whose works were printed without permission in Galaktika magazine using data we received from Metropolis Media under our settlement terms. If you are an author or an agent representing an author, please consult the list below to find out whether your work was published in Galaktika without your permission.

To discuss a settlement of your claim, please contact Dr. Katalin Mund of Metropolis Media at mund.katalin@gmail.com. If you’re an Authors Guild member and need more information, feel free to send us an email at staff@authorsguild.org. SFWA members may contact settlement@sfwa.org for more information.
