Stephanie Booth is an author and freelance journalist. Her debut novel, Libby Lost and Found, was published by Sourcebooks Landmark in 2024. Hundreds of Stephanie’s articles and essays have appeared in outlets like The Cut, Real Simple, Psychology Today, Cosmopolitan, Healthline, WebMD, Martha Stewart, and The Washington Post. Stephanie has also created health content for digital health platforms like Omada Health, assisted with casting for MTV’s “True Life” documentary series, and was a contributing editor for Teen People magazine. She has an MFA from Emerson College and an MA from the University of New Mexico.

Kacey Carpenter is an author, educator, and community organizer focused on storytelling, the outdoors, and civic engagement. He is the author of The Fight We’re In: Organizing for Power and Change, READY, SET, GO! Playbook for Campaigns, Candidates, and Causes, My Journey with Bernie, and the National Park Mystery Thriller series. He also publishes Life is a Journey, a newsletter exploring writing, nature, travel, and community. Kacey teaches nature writing at Portland Community College and was recognized by UCLA with its Bruin Excellence in Civic Engagement Award. He holds degrees from UCLA and the University of Pennsylvania. An Oregon Sierra Club Local Outings leader and certified Wilderness First Aid provider, he enjoys helping people discover the outdoors while building connections through storytelling and shared experiences. Bert Krages is an attorney whose work mostly involves intellectual property and media law issues. He is a well-known advocate for the right to take photographs in public and is the author of books about photography and photography law. He obtained his law degree from the University of Oregon, where he served on law review. He also has an undergraduate degree in engineering from Northwestern University and a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
