Treat publishing like Tinder—rather than dwelling on it when things don’t work out, keep swiping to find a better match. It’s so easy in the digital age to get caught up in the little things, especially when it comes to your career. In this workshop we’ll go over sweating the small stuff, handling rejections, and what’s better left for the group chat.
Sheyla Knigge, agent at High Line Literary Collective, will offer her advice for managing the stress and disappointments that come with querying agents or putting your work out there at any stage of your career. We will leave time for Q&A to discuss your questions about the topic and the agent’s perspective on navigating the industry.
Moderated by Sarah Khalil, literary agent and editorial manager at Calligraph.
